The 94th Academy Awards ceremony, also referred to as The Oscars, was held early last week at the Dolby Theatre. As one of the biggest nights of the year for the movie industry, the event continued with its tradition of honouring the best films released within the previous year.
It was a night to remember.
With many notable films hitting the screen, nominating several stars, it is no surprise that countless influential figures were seen gracing the red carpet in anticipation of the ceremony. Dressed in their best gowns and tuxes, guests were sure to not disappoint with their attire, complete with jaw-dropping accessories.

Zendaya
She acts, she sings, she dances and she slays! Zendaya turned heads when she graced the red carpet in a two-piece ensemble. Pairing an haute couture silky button-up with a long silver sequined skirt complete with a train, the Dune actress made her mark upon her entrance to this year’s Grammy Awards.

While she is known for serving on the tennis court, athlete Serena Willaims also serves on the red carpet! Attending the award show with her sister Venus, Williams made a fashionable appearance in a romantic pink gown. She represented the biopic based on the true story of their father’s life and influence in which she was an executive producer.
The lengthy pink accordion-style design featured a plunging neckline, with black floral detailing following the bust to the shoulders. Wearing black lacey gloves to compliment the floral detailing, the tennis superstar kept it minimal in the jewellery department, opting for subtle earrings and an elegant dress ring in addition to her engagement ring.
