2023 did not disappoint when it came to engagements! Not only did this year see several engagements for our Midas Jewellery couples, but the celebrity world also saw several proposals.
It warms our hearts to hear about any proposal, but we always love to see a proposal with our favourite stars. More so, we love to check out the engagement ring and what style they chose!

Delta Goodrem and Matthew Copley
This year, Australian sweetheart Delta Goodrem announced her engagement with long-term partner Matthew Copley. The couple took their relationship to the next level in Malta following downtime from Goodrem’s European tour. In a romantic scene, a quartet played on a lawn covered with white petals and a beautiful European vista behind.
Opting for a timeless design, Copley proposed to his fiancée with a staggering brilliant round diamond design in a solitaire setting. Adding further sparkle, it featured a pave diamond band, with small diamonds adding radiance to the shank.
Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma
Another one of our Aussie darlings engaged! Early in the year, Rebel Wilson popped the question to her partner Ramona Agruma. Taking place in front of Cinderella Castle in Disneyland, the Pitch Perfect star organised a magical Disney-style proposal complete with flowers and petals.
Wilson selected a solitaire engagement ring for her partner. The classic brilliant round diamond design is certainly worthy for a princess!
Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi
All grown up, Millie Bobby Brown announced her engagement with partner Jake Bongiovi in April. Posting an elegant black and white photo to Instagram, the couple can be seen on a beach with their arms wrapped around each other.
The actress gave followers a closer look at the stunning ring in one of her videos following the announcement. In the video, viewers are given a closer inspection of the large, brilliant round-cut diamond design that boasts a sparkling pave set yellow gold band.
Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott
August saw actress and singer Zooey Deschanel announce her engagement to Jonathan Scott. During a family trip to Scotland, Scott proposed to the ‘New Girl’ actress in front of a Scottish Castle, with her children joining in on the proposal.

Can you get any more romantic than a Paris proposal? In the city of love, Cole Tucker popped the question to actress fiancé Vanessa Hudgens. The announcement showed photos of the couple on a Parisian Street with the iconic Eiffel Tower in the background.
The professional baseballer asked for the actress’s hand in marriage with a breathtaking oval diamond engagement ring. The stylish design featured a thin band, making the central diamond appear even more prominent in size.
Demi Lovato and Jordan Lutes
Just before the year came to a close, Demi Lovato announced her engagement to Jordan Lutes right before Christmas! In an intimate proposal complete with tea lights and rose petals, Lutes proposed to the singer in a personal moment shared between the two.
