      Want to go somewhere outside of your home state but can’t leave Australia? Don’t stress! You may be limited to a destination, but we reside in a gorgeous country that is vast with many facets, even the longest of residents haven’t witnessed.

      As one of the leading jewellers in Sydney providing countless couples with wedding bands, we have heard of many dream honeymoon locations that are located right here in our home country!

      Recently, we picked out the top places to honeymoon in NSW, but now, we want to help you look at the rest of the country.

      Whitsunday Islands, QLD

      Dreaming of a tropical getaway? Just because we are the land down under doesn’t mean you can’t run away to a sun-kissed island!

      Head further towards North Queensland and you’ll be sure to find that beachside getaway you desire. With plenty of resorts and hotels sprinkled across the many islands, it won’t be hard to find a place to lazily sprawl across a daybed on the beach or by the pool here!

      Plus, there are plenty of activities to immerse yourself in when looking for action! With a lot of water sports on offer and quick access to the iconic Great Barrier Reef, there is much to see and do. Not to mention the view of the restaurants in this region offer.

      Enjoy a decadent meal while witnessing the gorgeous blue ocean that surrounds the lands. From Hamilton Island to Daydream Island, there is no area you will not appreciate!

      Whitsunday Islands, QLD

      The whole state of Tasmania, TAS

      While Hawaii may not be on the cards, Tasmania is an island you can consider for your honeymoon. Although it is small, the place is still jampacked with a vast selection of tours and experiences for you and your newlywed partner.

      Boasting many lookouts and hiking trails, a short trip away from Hobart, Tasmania offers a lot that will surprise you. There are plenty of opportunities to explore nature through kayaking and quad biking.

      For a quieter time, visit their many serene beaches or go on a tour cruise where you may even spot some of their wildlife! Often visited by animals, including penguins, you can always find a surprise when you stay here.

      Barossa Valley, SA

      Renowned for their many wine-producing estates, the Barossa Valley is a breathtaking region home to many high-profile wineries.

      If you and your partner are major foodies with a refined taste in wine, then the Barossa is a destination you will want to consider. While it is easily mistaken for the vineyards of Tuscany, the beauty of this region is one that has to be witnessed – and tasted!

      With cheese specialists, jam factories and chocolate companies, the wineries and cellar doors aren’t the only thing on offer to your taste buds down here! On top of this, you will find many gourmet restaurants and cafes waiting for you to come and enjoy their succulent dishes.

      Margaret River Region, WA

      Dreaming of a natural paradise? Visit the Northern Territory! Besides the obvious natural landmark, Ayers Rock, the Northern Territory’s capital city, Darwin, is the gateway to many natural wonderlands you can explore.

      Renowned for their breath-taking sunsets, this city offers prime beaches for loved up couples to watch the sun go down.

      Set up on Mindil Beach and witness the day as it ends with a stunning sunset. Afterwards, head over to the markets where you’ll be able to dive into handcrafted goods and an array of food and drink choices.

      Spend a day at Territory Wildlife Park before skipping nearby to Berry Springs Nature Park where you will witness a natural waterfall and watering hole. We suggest you go out of the wet season for the best chance of a dip.

      For those who are up for a road trip, go further out and get lost in exploring the biodiverse nature reserve that is known as Kakadu National Park!

      This area is the habitat of an extensive list of both plant species and wildlife, including saltwater crocodiles, flatback turtles and birds, this outback adventure can last for days.

      With several accommodation venues sprinkled across the region, you will have no issue finding a place to stay near your desired location. With camping and lodging retreats and waterfront resorts and suites, there is a mix to choose from.
