The First Masterpiece

Mr Altundag’s first masterpiece was a silver belt that he designed, handcrafted and gifted to his wife on their wedding day. Mr. Altundag soon opened his own jewellery shop Telkari Jewellery. His designs were exquisite and his loyal customer base quickly grew as news spread of his amazing jewellery creations.

Midas Jewellery Was Born

Mr Altundag’s four sons renamed the jewellery business ‘Midas’ in 1985 which means ‘King of Gold’. They expanded the jewellery business in Australia with their very first boutique opened in the heart of Miranda, Sydney, which are run by Emanuel and Andy.

Founded with a vision to create exquisite, handcrafted jewellery, the Miranda store quickly became a destination for those seeking unparalleled craftsmanship and timeless elegance.
